Welcome to the BingPaper project!

I use Bing daily and have a love for the great images that are presented.  For a while I used to right click and save the image into my Pictures folder, but as a developer I knew this was something I could automate.  And so I got to work.  It didn't take long to produce this application and it's certinaly not rocket science and in fact is somewhat of a hack all things considered.  I examined the Bing API and was unable to find any calls that would allow me to specifially retrieve the current image so I set out to write my own.  This application requests the Bing page content, parses the resulting HTML and finally extracts the Bing image name then requests the image from the server and stores it in a user defined location as a user defined name.

My choice is:  Month Day Year - Bing Image Name.jpg.  Stored in Users\Pictures\Bing\Year\Month.

To make this as customizable as possible I utilized token replacement.  To view a list of tokens either run the GUI or call BingPaper.exe /tokenList.

I hope you find this application useful and thanks for checking it out!
